I notice there is the mainstream idea that bourgeoisie states has the right to purge it citizenry of those that wish to harm it citizenry, yet on the same hand non-bourgeoisie states can't.

Many excuse bourgeoisie states limiting rights in the name of security (ignoring who this security is for) yet jumps up and down when ever non-bourgeoisie forces does the same.

For example I ran across people that actually point to the Sandinistas having POWs of Contras back in the 80's as proof that all communists are inhuman monsters yet excuse everything the Contras did because it was done in the name of US national security and if not done Russians would have been driving their tanks up through Texas.

Yep that's the tipical burgoise hipocrecy. To add to your argument, I always hear in the news how burgoise worrie about the people that las FARC has captured, but they never say anything about all the las FARC soldiers captured, or the once members of union patriotica.

Yeah, it is a double standard, but what do you expect?

Do you think a post revolutionary society should be able to imprison people actively trying to destroy the gains of proletariat by violent means? Of course! Why wouldn't the bourgeoisie feel the same about their governments?

It's all class interest, and while it is a little silly, its not exactly hard to understand where they are coming from.
