Yes, it's time for the dutch elections thread.
May 15th, the dutch election.
Will people vote for a ghost? or will people vote concrete?
Pim Fortuyn may be dead, but he is still leading the list of his party. The party is trying to get popular votes, will they succeed or will people be sensible?
Right-wing goverment or centre-left wing goverment?
The spirit of Fortuyn lives on and many people changed their thoughts and have decided to vote for his spirit.
Has the extreme left-wing assasin of Fortuyn secured the position of right-wingers in the netherlands?
Will right-wingers rule? left wing opposition? How long will this new parlement last? What does this mean for foreign relations? What does this mean for all the things socialist fought for in the last 50 years?
Aye!!! you guessed it laddy. This and much more comming soon to your local thread on Che-Lives.com!!!
stay tuned!!
(yes, I was very intoxicated while writing this message, but it was a nice birthday of a good friend)

SP Went from 5 'zetstels' to 10........!

Nope from 5 to 8.
They lost 2 seats in the last hour.
I'll bet ya that the most people who voted for Fortuyn don't even know what his program is and then they say things like:
"we want better security and we want better health-care and Fortuyn will give that to us."
Don't these morons know that every party in the Netherlands is saying that and that healthcare is amongst the best in the world??
Fucking media morons.
If we don't watch out we'll have another CNN here spreading things the people want to know and loose all objectiveness.
Sympathy votes, moronic votes.

People for the results check this site
http://www.telegraaf.nl/krant/actueel/verk...agen/index.html (http://www.telegraaf.nl/krant/actueel/verkiezingen/tk2002/uitslagen/index.html)
Altough Sp came 9 " chairs " im very angry bout the results wich take a deep step to a right wing gonverment.
CDA won by far and after that came Party Pim Portuyn.
Hewson Pvda took a huge dive to the bottom and SP went well
but cant compare too the big ones.
Hewson, what do you think will become of the new gonverment ?

Well, you probably followed the recent developments as I did, so it will probably become the goverment I feared since the local elections:
CDA/LPF/VVD
This will basically mean a cut in welfare and privitasing health-care if CDA agrees with it of course.
Shitty LPF is just born and now they are going to co-rule our country? I just don't get it how people can take them seriously.
And furthermore, P. Fortuyn's party has such comments on the reign of 8 years purple goverment. I think they should first go into the opposition to prove themselves.
The only thing they have are vague plans, nothing really concrete.
ah well enough about that.
I found something also important:
I'm planning to go Harderwijk on Saturday a.s. to protest against that Neo-nazi scum NVU that is allowed to protest.
I'll wear my red Che shirt to make a clear point I think.

If noone else goes than I'm forced to go alone and maybe I'll meet some other anti-nvu people there.
