The Virgin Mary gave birth to Jesus, but abstinence is the only 100% accurate way to avoid pregnancy?
Something about that makes me want to say "Oh the irony!!!"
I find that Christians who advocate for abstinence based sex-education are TRYING to be ironic.

on a related note
it won't let me post the link but, a bunch of people lost their sight looking for an image of the Virgin Mary in the sun.
And if your dumb enough to do that your probably not even smart enough to know what irony is.

Well, let me take their side, for a moment. (It's only fair.)
I'm sure I don't need to tell you that the Virgin Mary was impregnated by God.
Christians don't think that kind of thing happens every day - hence why there are people devout enough to look for her imagine in the sun. ;)

The REAL irony is: we are all trying to get laid, without getting someone pregnant. God didnt get laid, but he still got Mary pregnant. So much for the all-mighty!

I very rarely think about "getting laid" It isn't a big priority for me. It just tends to happen when it does. It's not a negative thing, I just am not a particularly sexual persyn. I would rather cuddle up with my girl friend sometimes than have sex. I don't play into the stereotype of men thinking with their penises. But my brain doesn't do most of it either, my heart is what I base most of my action.
I'm sometimes not a shining example of rational thought, but atleast it comes from my heart as compared to thinking with my penis.
I'm sorry I've strayed from the point. Someone bring us back.

We should all be proud on ourselves. We gave our girfriends orgasms, wich makes us better than god. He didn't give Mary shit.

They were faking it.
And there is nothing wrong with teaching people to be abstinent and have better value in themselves. Because while half the people here are dumb enough to tell women " go and be free"
What it really amounts to for women is " fuck assholes who dont care about you for free. and let them use you and make little fools of you when you are more then a vagina"
I think its better that people make wise choices in who they open up to. We are not animals, but I also think they need to be honest with people about how to detect and handle STD's. Still in the end abstinence is the truth to avoid STD's. A person who is not abstinent, the less abstinent they are the more likely they have an STD and dont know it, so when you ask their swinging ass/dick...do you have any diseases their going to say naaaah.
You cant fuck a perosn then get an aids test, it wont even tell you. you have to wait three months before you can really be sure you arent exposed to most STDs because they have an incubation period.
Either way, we dont need to have anymore babies we cant care for to go into hte war machine.Or the prison industrial complex.

someone didnt read my post thourogly. probably because that picgture kicked ass so much they didnt want to read the post in truth.
See we have a problem of girls thinking it makes htem important to have someone fuck them.....bha...im not going to bother. Because i never said to tell children NOT TO HAVE SEX WITH EACH OTHER. i talked about people having self worth and not feeling the need to give themselves to someone to be important.
I also talked about the consiquences of reactionary sex education..whatever it was a good cartoon im feeling woozy and tired from looking at the feirce pirate thread in chit chat.

What it really amounts to for women is " fuck assholes who dont care about you for free. and let them use you and make little fools of you when you are more then a vagina"I agree with you - There seems to be this idea around that it's liberating for a woman to walk around wearing revealing clothing, for instance, and being openly 'sexy' - not that I think this is necessarily 'wrong', but it's just that it doesn't challenge, from what I can see, a woman's standing in the community. There's a reason that men don't protest: They like seeing you with your tits out, whether it's meaningful to you or not.
I think its better that people make wise choices in who they open up to. We are not animals, but I also think they need to be honest with people about how to detect and handle STD's. The best way not to break your legs is to not use them, but people like using their legs, it's healthy, it's nice, and although there's always a risk of falling over, if you're careful there's no reason why you shouldn't do it. Same thing goes for sex. Using protection when having sex is the most reasonable way to prevent STD's, in my opinion.

Yes, we should educate children about safe-sex. There is no reason for anyone to deny themselves of something they most-probably will find pleasurable if it is done safely. Abstinence should never be enforced but always an option for those who find need or want to have sex small.
Education on safe sex is the only solution. God-damn those God-lovers!
