basically, to read posts from a point of view we don't get here

I'm here because I am a student of life.
I have studied one end of the spectrum, and debated with Fascists and Libertarians. Now I am here to lean your end, and debate with you.
So far, other than the politics, there is little difference. you all debate the same way, so I've slowed down on the debating, and am focusing on the learning.

We all debate in the same way ?
We all have different opnions here, against capitalism we agree with each other, but I know for sure we dont debate all the same..

What I meant was that you (the collective 'you' of this board) as well as the others I've debated with online all tend to use the same sort of defenses, same sort of attacks, etc.
However, I will state that you (again with the collective.. hehe) tend to be more able to post factual backing for your opinions.
I learned that there are some scary scary people out there. It's not the nutjobs that wear SS uniforms that are really scary, it's the one's who look like your neighbor, your uncle, and your teacher. The ones who actually wholeheartedly believe in what they are saying, no matter how repulsive or ludicrous it may sound.
There are those here as well, but on the whole the ideas that are being defended here are not as loathsome as those supported on some Right-Wing boards.

dude, before i signed up here, i kept peeping at the 'who's online' hack and IM'd people on AIM and debated with them on socialist and capitalist beliefs... and after talking to them, i found out that many of them where 12 or 13 years old. i was trippin out... most of those kids were for socialist beliefs.. i am afraid that since they already have the mindset of, "socialism is good, capitalism is bad," they havent had the chance to experience capitalism fulheartedly. Do you think it is fair to "dictate" leftwing beliefs to children at such a young age? I personally have read writings of Marx, Engels, Guevara, etc and all the books were difficult to comprehend. left wing propaganda has already 'brainwashed' many of the children and have not allowed them to experience life.

I don't think anyone here is as young as 12 or 13.
The "I am now 12" thign which DDay said was him mocking the capitalists. D-Day is not one of our very young members.
Either way, they will either stick to it, or grow out of it, as simple as that. Nobody is dictating anythign to anyone.

Actually, if you go onto Lounge, and check out Rainbeaux's survey, you will see that there are at least two 11yrolds registered. I myself am almost 16, and I have been of an alternative mindset (socialist/communist is too strong for me) for two years or so.

Those sub-names such as Imperial Moron and that one under BatistaNationalista are pretty sad Malte. Just take them off. I mean if capitalists are getting them because of ideology then shouldn't stalinists as well? Instead why not just scrap them altogether, i mean if they were kissing Che's ass i'm sure they wouldn't get them. Correct?

well, back to the brainwashing idea....personally, i've had the idea that capitalism is good hammered into me for....well, awhile now
so i guess i can consider myself one of the lucky few that at 16 i've resisted throwing my heart & soul into one ideology & been given the sense to look at the issue from all perspectives
i think if you keep saying something to someone over & over again, you convince most of the population, but there are some few that start thinking "why do they keep saying this?" & question what they're saying....& i think they're the ppl who are really going to seek the truth
the rest of the population, well....if communists don't brainwash them, capitalists or fascists will, or their friends will
