WAR ON TERROR: The right thing to do or American self-interest??

ISRAEL'S INVASION OF PALESTINE: A gross injustice or Israeli self-defence?

M & Ms OR STARBURST: seriously...I think M & Ms meself...

No backstabbing, no cheap jibes, just proper debate. Ok people...let's hear it...

ok lets get a debate about how to go about running buisness in a socialist or communist society.

Personally I believe only industries should be controlled by the government. Corperations should have a sort of representative management. So there would be a rep. from the laborers, the middle management and the executives. All wouldtry and represent the opinions of who they represent.

That way the corperations are run by the workers and in some cases can be done by the community.

Personally I don't think the government should have control of all buisness, people need to believe that they can acheive something and work for their community, not for the government. Cuz a national government wont represent the people as well as centralized governments. So then the people will be more willing to work within the community they live in, supporting there area and the people around them. While at the same time the government owned industries will support a stable national government.

The national government and local governments need different control. Local governments allow people to work for those people that they know, care for, are friends with. People wont want to work for someone they don't know. So community owned corperations and Government owned industries are the way to go. As far as corperations as a whole if they are spread through out the nation then the government should have some control over how they do things......any thoughts.

m and ms.
I think that when Bush made the statment 'you are either with us or against us' then he was violating other countries rights to remain neutral. USA seem to think that whatever they want to do is law.

Voting so far:

M & Ms: 3
STARBURST: 0

Oh the tragedy. Yeah Bush's lack of leeway for neutrality was fucking unfair. Seems to me that he's playing the playground bully, saying "if you don't agree with me, I'll sanction ya!!!"

Sorry, I would put it more intelligently but I think I've taken too many painkillers...seriously, what's the reccommended dosage??

I dunno if you actually read my original post, but the first two discussion points were the war on terror and the Israel/Palestine crisis. I can't help the fact that the response was to the M & Ms v Starburst debate can I?? And besides, lighten up you pretentious commie...
