Something I've been wondering

Would writers be proletariat, since they sell their writing labour to producers? Would actors be proletariat, since they sell their acting power?

And if so, how can they be proletariat when they're making shitloads of money? Isn't it a bit of an anomaly?

Without getting too deeply into designations into the class structure, it's worth pointing out that the vast majority of writers and actors struggle to make any money at all.
