The pro-Russian Prime Minister of Serbia, Vojislav Kostunica, has resigned over the Kosovo independence issue.
His resignation will put the ruling coalition (Which his party is a member) of Serbia's pro-western President, Boris Tadic, in jeopardy and has led Kostunica to call for new elections.
