Hello,I'm Ruu.
I am currently in Seattle,USA studying english, and to experience a different culture.. But I am originally from Tokyo Japan.
I am an revolutionary marxist. I belong to the revolutionary marxist faction called Kakumaru,in the armed student division called the Zengakuren.

I'm not very fond of the United states, but it's not too bad, the activity here is very nice.

I hope to become acquainted,comrades!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

The left has a pretty strong hold, the communist party currently has a 15% vote. But we really have no say in politics since the system is very corrupt[politicians having protection from the yakuza who is strongly involved with the right wing]. But,the people are starting to stand up more and not taking 'No' for an answer.Japan has a law that says at least one person from nearly every political group must be a politician.
But all in all, japan's liberal group is a joke, most of the time they are Bush's lapdog, agreeing to almost everything he says.

Slowly but surely, the left is starting to take ahold of the government by force.

Nice to meet you :)

Kakumaru has about 6,000 dedicated members, about 500 in the armed 'gewalt'. But if there is ever an important riot, Our chairman can call on over 300,000 people.
Kakumaru currently has stepped away from their violent side and holds about 3 demonstrations a month, constantly protesting new policies, like the current missile and bomb testing. We sometimes set off bombs, not to injure anyone, just to make an statement. We have a lot of bad publicity saying we are 'terrorists' and we're out to injure people, neither true. We have kept an agreement since the early 70's that we will not fight or hurt anyone, unless they injure us.

In the past[mid 1960-1973] , we participated in the japanese revolution, but that turned out bad.Instead of fighting the US army and the Fascist police, we fought with the other communist factions and anarchist factions.

If you want to know more please ask, comrade! :]
