Think about this....
When one does the benevolent act of sponsoring a child, portions of his money go to the child themselves, obviously world vision and to the community or village that the child lives in so small businesses can be set up to promote buying and selling. This encourages the emergence of small town merchants who for instance sell fruit etc on the corner of a street. This is however capitalism is practice. Through World Vision and other sponsorship organisations money that the sponsor is sending goes to establishing a free market economy in the Third World so that American corporations can come in and exploit it. This is happening as we speak. I'm not saying don't sponsor a child but freak this surely isn't right. America is doing this to further spread their style of capitalism in the poorest nations so they can continue and reap the benefits from it for years to come. This is merely the spreading of the philosophy of plunder.
