"How do you define terrorism?

The Intelligence Community is guided by the definition of terrorism contained in Title 22 of the US Code, Section 2656f(d):

The term terrorism means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by subnational groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.

The term international terrorism means terrorism involving the territory or the citizens of more than one country.

The term terrorist group means any group that practices, or has significant subgroups that practice, international terrorism."

I hope the "clears" some stuff up. OH this site is great!!!

"Has the CIA ever provided funding, training, or other support to Usama Bin Laden?

No. Numerous comments in the media recently have reiterated a widely circulated but incorrect notion that the CIA once had a relationship with Usama Bin Laden. For the record, you should know that the CIA never employed, paid, or maintained any relationship whatsoever with Bin Laden."

Well there you go, theres more to come...

What do you all think?

Useless Abbie fact #6737195690: Mayor Daley called Hoffman a "terrorist" on more than one occasion. While our own soldiers were napalming villages full of innocent children whose parents may or may not have wanted their nation to be terrorists, one of the most high-profile leaders in America said that the terrorist was the guy with the big hair who nominated a pig for president.

It's no secret that the supposed War on Terror is being used by the United States government for its own political agenda. Some of the newly created anti-terror offices are actually filled with contra vets! With men who arranged for cocaine to be sold in the inner city and then gave the profits to actual terrorists in Nicaragua heading up our "War on Terror" it's no surprise that it's been such a failure.

The definition of terrorism is completely relative. A bunch of bums in Lexington and Concord who shot at the soldiers of the most powerful nation in the world (at the time) could have been very easily called terrorists. Couldn't the case be made that the most terror-filled five minutes in the history of the human race were when we nuked Hiroshima or Nagasaki?

If they're talking about Usama bin Laden, I consider that to be "religiously motivated" to a very large degree or extent. It's "FAITH-BASED TERRORISM"!! :)
