You know! It's getting EXTREMELY annoying. In every single debate and thread there is, you have NOTHING good to say. At least Raegan and some others actually debated on the theories of capitalism! I'm not 'railing' on you, so don't get all upset and follow the same road that 'Forever Capitalism' did. I'm just asking, that you do NOT continue using the same damn phrase to attempt to win your discussions!

Since the time I've known you, it seems that you have an insistance of saying that capitalism, america, imperialism, exploitation, or WHATEVER is good because:

"It promotes freedom and democracy!"

That's all you EVER seem to say. You never actually back up your arguments. It's just something like:

"Socialists live in a dream world! America is great because it brings freedom!"

I have NO problem with you believing that socialists live in a 'dream world', or even arguing about it. But PLEASE stop answering every question with the insistion that it brings freedom WITHOUT backing that information up.

Thanks...

Yeah, whenever I finish reading a post by Imperial *****, I'm like: *YAWN* Didn't he say that already?

More actual content would be appreciated. Not to mention maybe finally fleshing out the *reasons* behind his broken record statements.

Are we all still bothered bout him/her? Just leave him/her alone, let him/her live in the day dream they live in. If your like me, you realized a long time ago that imperial power just ain't worth the bother.

Its not his fault that research information is restricted on the net!!!!!!

Most search engines read where the user is from so they can and do only give out results that back the governments point of view.

I.E: In Canada even if I put in the American version of a popular search engine I'm forced onto the Canadian version. If in America the reverse is true.

Some are obvious because they do not hide the fact that they do this. Google comes to mind, if your in America enter the url as dot ca you will be sent to dot com!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, Google admitted to the Wall Street Journal that it forces user's to use the specific search engine from the users location. It also admitted that it will aid the government and not allow information the government deems innapropriate...

From Canada I cannot access the U.S. form of Google nor can I get into the Cuban version of Yahoo!....Maybe its just the Canadian government forcing its Canadian content laws on the net. Yes the Canadian government who screems about democracy has a law that magazines, Radio and T.V. must contain Canadian content to broadcast/distributed in Canada!!!!!

If I type in www.google.com its display's only the Canadian page....

When you do it does it offer you a french option??

If yes than I'm the only one being surpressed of information!!!!

For a experiment lets compare searches, Americans search a word and I'll search the same and we'll see what sites pop up and if they are the same. If you can access google.ca do a search using it and than do google.com and see if the info comes out the same....

I'll be pissed if my government is limiting my information on the net!!!!!!!!

I'm in the UK and when I type google.com I get International Google (yes .com is an international domain. US domain, while rarely used, is .co.state.us despite common belief) when I type google.ca I get Google Canada, When I type google.co.uk I get Google UK.

I wrote Google to see what they say:

Hello;

How come I cannot search Google with the American version only the Canadian version? No matter wich URL I enter I'm automatically forwarded to the Canadian page Google.ca, is this imagined by me or is it impossible for me to access the American version that of dot com?

Sincerely a concerned citizen,

Poncho

Seems Canada is limiting my access to information, I'll forward the reply if any from Google. If they do not answer my email, I'll phone them....

Oh, *YAWN* it's that 'Dream World' talk again without any substance...hmm...I guess 'freedom' and 'democracy' are just words to throw around...because democracy, nor freedom, exists in the U$...

*YAWN* Didn't Imperial ***** already say that Dream world shit?

Ain't it great to hear from a good 'ole "Capatilist", who actually believes that this type of system is the dog's bollox?
"Democracy"; Question: What percentage of the American public bothered to vote? (After their incredibly series of "carcasses", which I reckon is designed to confuse those that haven't the oppurtunity, sorry, money to recieve a decent education, unlike Cuba)

Then what percentage of this percentage voted for G.W.Bush?

Question: How can America justify, for example, raising import taxes on steel, having instigated a system of a "free trade agreements" in the form of the WTO?

Q: Capatalism alledgedly promotes free speach. How is it then that Rupert Murdoch (a wannabe US citizen), is allowed to own (unregulated) 80%+ of the world's media including Time AOL, running his companies in an atmosphere of intimidation, no union representation of his employees and donating millions of dollars to GWB's election campaign. The news that the majority of the world are fed are Murdoch's policy of news that he feels should be reported, example; since the Gulf "War", US military have systematically and regularly been bombing inside Iraq? Israel is given leniency which beggars belief & we rarely here of any negative points from there.

Capatalism (definition: Imperialism) has nurtured the human trait of greed to the detriment of the vast majority of the world's population. How is it that 20% of the world population own more than 80% of the wealth of the world.

If Capitalism was truly about being free and everyone having the opportunity to become a billionaire, why is it that one must have a certain amount of wealth to gain good education, decent medical treatment, or to have been born with a name like Kennedy for example?

Why is it that millions of people are starving, living beneath the poverty line, and still their governments are forced to pay off huge interest charges on loans which they were coerced into taking.

Why is it that certain persons in certain countries feel they need to murder their work or school colleagues, or to persecute people of colour, driven by the fear of failure, failure being the antithesis of success (i.e. making more money than the next man)

In my opinion, capatilists are people in a minority who can determin the way of the world purely on the basis of the love of money and making more money to gain power over less privilaged people.

Wake up, Imperialism, capitalism, whatever you want to call it is a destructive, war mongering, control freaking and selfish system which has never worked, never will and will be responsible for the deaths of millions and millions of people who have feelings, families and goals, just the same as you greedy, selfish, misled, ignorant souls. One last example of the beast nation of all capitalism at work, re-saving the planet, who in Allah's name does the president think he is; veto-ing the Kyoto agreement.

Remember this when eating venison, caviar with your chateau Margaux 1967, what will the children making Nike footwear in Taiwan, or the kids working in the cocoa fields of West Africa, or the sewer children, avoiding government (US financed) death squads in S America eat?
Rice again? - if they're lucky ( to be alive)!
