I doubt much will change, he's basically just a puppet for Putin.

Putin will continue as prime minister and the new president will just be Putin's tool. I think Russians are likely to see more crackdowns on liberals and more centralization of state power.

Putin will still be in control. Russia will slowly become a fascist state. Although the Russian Communist Party isn't ideal, it's better to have them than the fascist-nationalists.

Nothing.
Putin will now run for prime minister, but he doesn't even have to do that,Medvedev is his puppet.
Russian oligarchs will have the same power and support, and eastern Eusrope will continue to be Russia's backyard.

Same shit, different package. Putin will still be no.1.
Whats up with the Russian CP, anyway? Why arent they ideal? Are we talking about those "National Bolshevik" assholes here?

The Russian Communist Party came in second with 18 percent of the vote, but they're pretty shitty.

Possible criticism that everyone will hear: many people who defended Raul becoming the president of Cuba are opposed to Putin's successor
Not that I disagree with the elections being a sham, and I of course much prefer Cuba's government (although I think they should have picked someone other than Raul)

Of course its a charade, and I would say that the Russian elections differ from elections in other "more civilized" countries only because it was clear that the Russian elections were a charade, while in the west they are masked as being democratic. Our president even goes as far as saying that the elections are the "holiday for democracy".

I agree. After that happens, I hope that they will pay another "visit" to the central Europe, like they did in 45.

The same as all 'democracies' but this time the machinery of corruption was laid bare for all to see.

Is Putin more of a bourgeoisie centrist liberal or a right-wing nutjob? I'm really not familiar with his policies at all.
Though from what I hear he's refusing to do anything about the rising skinhead, fascist and nazbol problem in Russia and the ethnic killings going on there.
