I believe Rommel was sort of like Lee. Lee fought for the wrong side but, (I believe at least) wasn't all that bad of a guy. After all, Rommel was ordered to kill all POWs he had captured, but refused, he refused a direct order from Hitler. That took some balls. But he was still on the wrong side, I'm not saying he was a saint, or even a good guy, I just don't think he necessarilly gave in to all the Nazi bullshit.

I don't think it is prudent to take the name of a person who fought for Nazism though.

I just liked Rommel for his great strategic mind, he had nothing to do with things like concetration camps he just fought war with those he was orderd, he wasn't such a cruel person like Hitler and he was smarter to then H., the furher didn't have any stragetic mind, come'on operation barbarossa, that was his greatest blunder ever. True the joods took the work of many german famalys, but killing them in those horrible situations wasn't the solution. I don't like strangers, but i don't hate so much that i want to kill every single one of them. I think they are ok, so long they stay in their country. Here in my country many strangers, live and don't work, then us the tax payers need to pay the goverment to keep them alive, thats one of the reasons why i don't like them ...

I feel nazism isn't what is dumb, i think the masskilling of a population you hate is dumb. Also hitler had close to nothing to due with the holocaust. He presented the 'theory' if you will. His second in command Georing, the leader of the S.S. Himler, and Adolf Eichman designed and ran the entire operation. Although they might of had hitler's ok, 'The Final Solution' was his theory and not his action.

It's ok if you just think of it, but actually partaking is not ok? Frankly, I don't see any difference between the two. Nazism is a system that advocates racism, militarism, censorship, national superiority, and undying loyalty to the state dictator. Under a Nazi system, everyone loses their freedoms, how could that possibly be a "not dumb" system. Why do you think that Hitler was innocent of the murder of nearly 15 million Jews, Poles, Slavic peoples, Gypsies, Catholics, Marxists, Jehovas Witnesses, liberals, and pacifists? Please explain your thinking.
