anti marxists doesn't stop their organization and we are sitting all day we have to do something. we should be together i have a idea about organization but it need improve and money.let's create a booklet and we have to distribute our booklets
I'm sick of the cappie propaganda I see every day, no matter where I am, and I propose that RevLeft make its own propaganda, that we all come together to make a booklet here. We'll get our ideas down, type it up, and anyone can print it out and distribute it, i.e. leave it in restaurants, stores, newspaper stacks, telephone poles, etc.
Let's get started.

No.
Revleft isn't an organisation. It has thousands of different members from all different parts of the world, with conflicting oppinions and analysis. Anything we produce would be deeply confused and/or incapable of proposing solutions to the issues confronting the working class.
Furthermore we're in no position to be making such claims, as we have no practical proposals, we're not a party or federation, we have no praxis. We wouldn't be asking them to get involved in anything we'd just be constantly asserting and re-asserting that "capitalism is shit in theory and Communism is good in theory" to which most people will respond "so what?" and we shouldn't then say "omg we need revolution lol, join this forum" we should have a well-established coherant program attached to a disciplied organisation for them to throw their enthusiasm into.
Secondly, there are billions of pamphlets, newsheets, booklets, stickers, posters of far higher quality than anything we could ever produce. Why would we do a shit remake? I suggest you get hold of some of these resources from your nearest trotskyist party.

But we are a group, no matter what, and as such we are responsible to act in a revolutionary struggle. Whatever we can produce is good, whoever we can convince is good, no matter how we do it. We can provide them with lists of organizations.
The point is, we as socialists need to get off the keyboard and do something. RevLeft is an organization, where we discuss, debate, and decide upon issues. And as such, we have a duty to the cause to promote our ideology.
RevLeft has thousands of members, and if we come together we can produce very high quality goods and propaganda. The more the better, right? Because people who otherwise wouldn't find any literature or material could pick this up, and gaining just one person is a noble victory- we need to do whatever we can.

I would object to helping propagate Leninist groups and most Leninists here would object to promoting Anarchist Federatons.
The fact is there is simply no point. Such materials as you desire, already exist, in large number. Why dont you use them instead of taking on the momentus task of starting from scratch for no reason.
The point is, we as socialists need to get off the keyboard and do something.
Don't you think trying to organise the production of a pamphlet specifically borne from an internet forum will necesitate more time online, and not less? Wouldn't joining an already existant party/federation and getting active behnd it's innitiatives and usign it's propaganda be far more useful and quicker?
Sorry if I sound a bit short, I appreciate what you're saying. It's just that we get this "we need to get off the forum" rant every few weeks. The fact is most of us are incredibly active. In reality, I have very little free time between work, political activism, I don't have much time to just relax with my patner or my friends.
I mean, I am not writing this post instead of revolutionary activity, I am making this post instead of watching TV while my dinner cooks.

I see where Wat Tyler is coming from, and agree with many of his points. However, I disagree with him when he says the this should not be attempted. I would be willing to work on a few designs/find some articles. I have a few books on the subject that I would be willing to edit and put on the site in a MS Word document.

So what we need to do to get this on its feet is make a list of about 10 people who have an interest in participating. We need some people with artistic ability, some with good writing skills, and preferably someone (trustworthy) who would be able to ship materials out. SDS has a guy in NY who, if you send him $5, will send you back 100 pins. Something like this would be beneficial to all parties involved. Even if we are spending more time on the internet, as Wat Tyler says, at least we are getting experience in the skills needed to organise an operation such as this. So anyone interested in working on this, reply here or send me a PM. In the message, include any useful skills that you have. Even if you don't have any, don't feel like you can't participate. Everyone starts somewhere.:)
