Is this a sound analysis of Israeli nationhood and its relationship to America?
Outside of the Bible, Israel has absolutely no right to exist at all!
It is simply a modern day recreation of King Herod's Roman puppet state of Judaea designed to serve the intrests of the dominant Empire of the day (In Israel's case it is the later day Roman Empire of America, whilst in Judaea's case it was Rome) in this volatile and resource rich region.
History really does repeat itself.

Technically, Israel was a real place historically. All the bible did was make up fairy tale prophecies for an existing nation at the time. Trully an ethnocentric product to boost morale and meaning for the Israeli people made by the elite classes at that time.
But just because it was a real place does not mean they had a right to kick out and subject an entire people under a new Israeli state!
As for it being a puppet state for access to resources, I agree.
Well, according to history, a burning bush spoke to someone and told him to conquer some land where Israel exists today (reportedly) and colonize it with his worshippers.
Essentially, even thousands of years ago, the "nation" of Israel came about only through violent conquest and the forceful removal of the original inhabitants.

It ain't just about "resources". It's an old colonial impulse to send white people to foreign countries to kick the shit out of the natives, ethnically cleanse, and settle.

Have you read the Bible? There just isn't much in there that isn't about genocide, foreskin, and how desperately Yahweh needs your absolute and solitary approval.

True, but you can make that argument with almost any country when going back in time far enough. :)

My take on Israel: Racist state...similar to Apartheid SA, just with a religious smokescreen. Religion is the defence os Israel, and the reason it is not as critised as SA was.

Israel exists only because there are enough Bible believers in the Imperialist States of America, who believe that--per the Bible--the Jews deserve to kick out the native population for the sake of fulfilling prophecy.

or perhaps more realistically there are wealthy Jewish lobbists in the USA and so the government gains their money but supporting Israel, money they use to buy votes a la spending £7 million a state in party leadership only campaign,
I would presume that the bible belt god squadders are probably anti-semetic and so only support Israel as they are more anti-islamic than anti-semetic if they care who they supporting their government to bomb

Its not so much the Jewish vote but the media vote.
Openly right wing Conservative pro-Israeli Zionist (Either Christian or Jewish) businessmen own a hell of alot of the mainstream media news networks and newspapers in America that are watched and read by millions of Americans respectively (Thus helping in the forming of their opinions).
So if an American politician steers to far away from the pro-Israel line he will have all major mainstream media news networks and newspapers turning against him, which no politician wants as it will more than likely lead to him losing power.
Of course the neo-Nazis, rather stupidly, see this as part of a huge conspiracy where the Jews run the world, but it is actually just a bunch of businessmen who have alot to gain (Financially) from Israel's existence and its policies in this resource rich region of the world and, the dominant Empire of the day, America's support of it.

Which is why Carter's book came out years after he was actually in power.

The idea that Israel should've been created in Europe is absurd.
They have the same rights to Israel-Palestine as the Muslims do.
Jerusalem needs to become an international city, becuase no matter how hard each side tries, niether the Jews or Muslims are going anywhere.

Human beings have the same rights to the holy land, Zionists, who have commited an ethnic cleansing against the original majority population, dont.
The whole point of Israel's existence isnt anything to do with the Bible (That is just an excuse used by both the American and Israeli leadership to justify their obviously illegal occupation of Palestine and brutal ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians), no it is to do with securing American (Whom Israel serve like an obedient dog) intrests in the region.
Why do you think that the American government pumps billions of dollars worth of aid, weapons, etc to Israel each year?
It sure as hell isnt because they think that "Israeli's" have some sort of ancient right to the land because of what some book, writen a few thousand years ago, said.
