On the news in Britian there has been alot of debate on tougher laws for ISP's and websites who let people download free music and video's. Basically my question is should all people have access to free music and video?

I believe that all should have the right to download what they want. We live in a (supposed) free world. OK the record companies might loose a little bit of money but they are making billions of pounds a year and what they lose because of people like me are a drop in the ocean to them. They will still sell CD's and DVD's because some people will still want them. Surey a poor person like me should have the same right to access music and video as a rich person. What about audiobooks surely I have a right to access books on the web or are we going to say only the rich can read now

I agree with you. I think we should all have the mandatory right to access all music on the net. Plus it's a way of harming capitalism.
