fascism is the reduction of humans to machines of labor for the advancement of society. fascism is the destruction of all people, cultures, sexualities, religions and ideas that detract from a cultures ability to advance mechanically. fascism uses war to rally the people and increase production. what is this if not the final stage of capitalism?

I'm currently reading a book which covers the rise to power of Hitler and Mussolini. Mussolini came to power in a coup d'etat sponsered by industrialists and performed by the militarty during the "march of rome". Hitler's party was called the "Socialist Workers Party" and he got campaign contributions from capitalists around. Enough money to fly to 50 cities in the two weeks prior to the election. In america, they hailed these to fascists. After they seized power, they removed safety regulations, abolished the minimum wage laws, made unions illegal, etc. Capitalists like Henry Ford payed their homage, visiting Rome and Berlin several times. Fascism is capitalism.

umm i detect some nebulous thought... Sorry but i cant agree. Just because its a critique of capitalism does mean its right lol... Fascism is totalitarianism, political non freedom, forced conditionment of individuals to assimilate party or state ideals as such. Im not saying certain capitalist nations dont have some of these caracteristics, im saying we should call things by there names and not confuse things.
And how does the "reduction of humans to labor machines" "advance" society? nop. sorry.
Fascism is not capitalism its totalitarianism, so stalin is still a fascist. Yup. You gotta do better than that sorry.

Then what about the two party system, thats sort of facist, I mean other parties are practicaly gone...or when they hunted down the communist in the country that was facist.
On a differnt note the US tried and still does to eliminate leftists all over the globe, so the US are Global facist

el che,
the reduction of human beings to machines of labor advances the society mechanically, which i see as the aim of capitalism and fascism. and why are capitalism and totalitarianism mutually exclusive? fascism is totalitarian capitalism, which is what i see countries like the US and the UK moving towards. think about it: we elect lawmakers every few years. to be reelected, these people must work hard to pass laws to make their electors know they are doing their job. therefore they pass many laws. every law that is passed is an imposition on personal freedom whether correct or incorrect. if every generation passes more laws than it takes away, we move towards totalitarianism. fascism is not simple totalitarianism. stalin didn't use social darwinism, set up social programs (whether good or bad), and killed rich people-unlike hitler who gave them more power.

I could just as easily say Fascism is communism, or as so many of you have noted that "capitalists" here say, Communism is stalinism, and find as much veracity in that simple statement as in your whole paragraphs.
