When I first came here I was astonished at the incredible stupidity of the capitalist posts.
Firstly they equate the US with democracy when it
is a rich man's sham and they never defend it from that attack because they cant.
Secondly, they say Workers are not exploited because of relatively high wages in the US that compare nothing to the billions of pounds that are made out of workers in the US and Abroad.
Thirdly, The say that Stalinism=socialism despite the fact that before stalinism, no socialist on earth argued for the suppression of free speech. Then they say that it
is practise that counts, when in practice socialists have been killed fighting stalinism. They have no knowledge of the history of socialism or the fight against stalinism
which at times was crushed brutally, take the singing of the "internationale" in Tinnamen Square.
They insist we want to make everyone equally poor when we want to abolish poverty.
Worst of all the say they are against dictatorship and they want to tell us what our beliefs are, as if there can be no democratic alternative to capitalism.
IT IS THESE PEOPLE WHO ARE THE TOTALITARIANS
ON THIS SITE WHOSE COWARDLY ACCEPTANCE OF
LIVING IMPERIALISM COVERS THEM IN THE BLOOD OF MILLIONS SUFFERING FROM STARVATION DISEASE AND WAR WHILE TRILLIONS ARE SPENT ON WEAPONS.
it really is a sick joke.

I totally agree - all of those points are absolutely correct about the capis on this board

and even if you took away the corruption and rich mans sham of our government it still isnt democratic

Direct democracy is the ONLY REAL democracy (Where people vote for themselves, not for some representative to do their voting for them)

argh

Nateddi.

You share the same misinterpretation of history as the BORGS.
There has never been a Communist regime! Just primitive socialist regimes.

It is not re-writing history; it is putting the fucking record straight, and it is appalling you swallow the BORG version of history of primitive socialist states wholesale!

derminated.

I would not give them any tinge of respect.
These regimes have dragged the name of socialism through the mud.
There ecomomies while devoid of the market have been
devoid of socialisation and democracy. This makes them counter revolutionary regimes that share the bourgeois ethos - individual freedom can be gained by ignoring the plight of others.

peaccenicked, I totally agree. To many people confuse stalinism with socialism. people act as if all the political parties formed from Marx's therories are exactly the same.

For isntance i was disscussing my democratic socialist beliefs and he went off ranting about how socialist want to destroy freedom of speech and all that crap. He kept on talking about how everyone in socialist countires are so poor but on the contrary poverty is practicaly eliminated as well as unemployment. I think that people need to stop using the stereotypes that have been drilled into their brains about socialism.

I totaly agree, the capitalist here have no grounds for their incompetent arguments. They are the perfect characterization of the cattle who blindly follow their dictator. This reminds me of a prefect quote dictated by one of the worlds worst fascist... " Lucky fo us that the people we govern dont think " -Adolf Hitler
This one quote explains what type of sad mentality capitalists follow.

Peace why is it the communists here are such a joke? The ability of you all to deny common sense astounds me every day. And in reality you know that communism lost long ago. It will never exist again on a large scale in this day and age, and thats the truth. I think your best hope is finding a little island and watching the system fall flat on its face. Why don't you tell me how you plan to start the social revolution?

There is common sense and common sense
there was the common sense that thought the world was flat.
There is the common sense, that is COWARDLY ACCEPTANCE OF
LIVING IMPERIALISM THAT COVERS THEM IN THE BLOOD OF MILLIONS SUFFERING FROM STARVATION DISEASE AND WAR WHILE TRILLIONS ARE SPENT ON WEAPONS.
That sort of 'sense' is common.
However it is a veritable nonsense to accept such a thing.
It makes absolute sense to redistribute wealth.
The revolution is about making this sense common
and while we are a minority, so was Galileo.
You still make the nonsense of equating communism with stalinism, a nonsense so stupid that it belongs to a small minority of ideologues, most people can see
that wealth redistribution is not inherently undemocratic.
It is a movement of things not a issue of freedom of speech.Freedom of speech is a capitalist totalitarian red herring, which we will continually expose as such.
To paraphrase Lenin,
'Scientific Socialism is omnipotent because it is true'
The largest common sense argument that
we face is is about human nature which denies ultimately mans free will and ability to determine his future.
It seems IP that you are a determined
slave of the ideology of class division
and would not see the sense of democratic socialism, even if it was accepted by the majority as the rational way to organise things.
