I hope I am not breaking any rules (I did a quick TOS view and saw nothing) but if I am please delete.

This little tip is helpful to Mac OSX users. There is a program called "iSerial" on popular torrent web sites. This little program contains a monthly updated list to every possible payware application for Mac you can think of: iWork, Photoshop, etc. Over 7000+ total applications and counting! Please share your serials with iSerial as it is dependent on users to keep this amazing product alive.

Remember: why pay?

Exactly. Linux, Open-Source, and File Sharing is all in the spirit of Socialism. No need to NOT do it. Don't support capitalism comrades. Steal, crack and copy. ;)

I would use Linux if within 5 minutes I not confused out of my fucking mind. :P

Well I'll get this old laptop from years ago fixed, may install Linux on that.

Why are people talking about open-source Linux programs? That's not piracy! Piracy is going onto SuperTorrents and downloading InDesign for free.

torrents and if torrents are too slow for you there are sites that specialize in direct downloads which are pretty easy to find.

You said it comrade. I love file sharing and how the capitalists don't know what leg to stand on when it comes to copyright.

Just a word of advice; don't incriminate yourself cos that's how they're tryin to win "their" money back. For instance, that woman who downloaded a few songs and got fined thousands and thousands of dollars. If they can't get people to pay, they'll do their best to make them pay.

Two other serial/[k] programs for Macs that a comrade recommended are Serial Box (http://www.serialz.to/serialbox.html) and KCNScrew (http://thepiratebay.org/search/kcnscrew/0/7/0). You can find the latest updates for Serial Box on torrent sites (http://thepiratebay.org/search/serial%20box/0/7/0), and search around for the latest Screw updates, they're floating around. Give 'em a whirl :).

For windoze users, there's a (somewhat dated) guide on finding serials here (http://dizzy.ws/serials.htm), the gist of which is basically go to http://astalavista.box.sk or #serialz/#serials on EFnet. On a related note, here's (http://The.2005.Beginners.Guide.to.Getting.Warez.on.IRC.p df) a guide on finding warez on IRC that may be of use as well...

LINUX is legal, i know. However, LINUX, Open-Source, and Piracy, are all in the same spirit - the Spirit of Community and sharing, in essence the spirit of Socialism.

what about for MACS?

what about for MACS?

They suck. It's UNIX, okay. But they are limited open source, (annoying when programming or hacking it) and they have little support for hardware and games (unlike PC's)

I oppose piracy.

I support the free movement of software and ideas though.

But raiding ships, killing people etc.? That sucks. I don't want to walk the plank.

But copying data? I'm down with that.

(Don't use the oppresses terminology, it is not stealing or theft, it is not piracy. Piracy occurs with boats, and theft requires the person to be deprived of the item. When you copy something, you aren't taking anything.)

Linux is not confusing. It's the most intuitive operating system I've ever used.

Distributions like Ubuntu focus a lot on usability. You can run Ubuntu perfectly well and more or less never have to so much as look at the command line.

Although, being able to use bash is incredibly useful and allows you to unlock a lot of the power of your computer that would otherwise go untapped. It's not like...a prerequisite to using linux though. The only thing I knew how to use the command line for before I switched to Linux was how to list contents of a directory (ls), change my directory (cd) and compile c++ programs using the GNU Compiler Collection.

If you can use Mac OS X, you can use Ubuntu.

I understand, have used, and like Linux.

But I still think OS X is a much more intuitive, easy, polished operating system. Once you get past the "computer-for-dummies" facade, you'll see what a beautiful system it is.

I think I have maybe 10 songs in iTunes that haven't been pirated

I personally like Ubuntu, I haven't loaded it onto my computer, but it definitely is a good operating system. It looks like MAC OSX and it is infinitely customizable. It has a somewhat slow boot time, however.

I've used Ubuntu on a public computer, but I've had problems with using a USB disk on it. I kept getting an error saying 'Unrecognized pmount'. That's the only problem I've encountered.

Always use an ip blocker like peerguardian when using p2p.

The key to illegal distribution is using PRIVATE torrent sites. As some of you may remember i gave out a bunch of STMusic.org invites a while ago. I don't have any invites but if you guys are able to come accross it, I HIGHLY suggest you snag a www.RevolutionTT.net torrent invite.

I have a total of $37,324 worth of pirated software between my Mac and PC.

And that is not counting the 43, 836 songs in iTunes (~312gb). If those are 99 cents a song at the iTunes store....

I LOVE PIRACY!!!! Keep it going comrades! Download, crack, enjoy, then add up a tally of your savings!!

Get Ubuntu. It's the most user-friendly version of Linux.

If any of you are interesting in making 3D models and animation, look up Blender. Its a free, open source program that is very powerful and rivals the commercial programs. Its amazing what people can achieve when they cooperate ;)
