Ok since I am both a Canadian and just getting into politics I know nothing about this guy. I have a few questions.

1. What does he mean by "protection of consumer rights"

2. What makes him so controversial (besides the 2000 election)

3. In which way does he support humanitarianism

If there is anything else I should know about him please tell me.

This is a board for the revolutionary left. You shouldn't post a thread here on the "Learning" forum about a bourgeois liberal hack politician.

He's a bourgeois hack. If you need to know any more than that, I suggest you check out the Green Party forums.

Nader's name first became associated with "consumerism" in the early 1960s when he used his education as a lawyer to accuse General Motors of making a car (called the Corvair) that was dangerous, and he also repeated those accusations in his book entitled "Unsafe At Any Speed."
