If *nothing* else, Castro's ability to withstand USA invasions/assassination attempts/embargos/etc. for 50 years has earned him a special place in history. To snub his nose at 10 successive USA administrations, with only 90 miles of sea separating Cuba from the world's largest war machine, Fidel was, and shall remain a hero.

though I disagree with alot of what Fidel did, I agree. the fact that he has the ability to be the most annyoing man in the world for the Yanks makes him awesome
