Turkey invades Iraq

Some 10,000 Turkish troops just invaded northern Iraq/Kurdish provinces of Iraq to fight the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) which is attempting to carve an independent Kurdistan out of Iraq/Turkey. The United States, the EU and most of their allies have labeled the PKK a terrorist group that should be fought. I'm wondering what the people on this website think about this. What is everyone's opinion?

This whole situation should serve as an example to the small nations of the world seeking independence: the imperialists will use you for their own ends, then promptly repress you if it is in their interests.

This whole situation should serve as an example to the small nations of the world seeking independence: the imperialists will use you for their own ends, then promptly repress you if it is in their interests.That's the reason I have a neutral/or anti position on most of these independence movements. They are often used as a tool to further oppress workers of a given locality.
