Truckin', Touch of Grey, Box of Rain just to name a few.
Grateful Dead basically rules, no question about it, but what is your opinion of them? And also, what is your opinion of "dead heads" and the whole culture surrounding it?
I think it's pretty interesting.
I miss Jerry Garcia. :(

My favorite album by them would have to be Workingman's Dead, followed by American Beauty.
Touch of Grey, Casey Jones, Cumberland Blues...all pretty good songs.

Friend of the Devil, Casey Jones, Touch of Grey, Uncle John's Band...
I remember when Jerry died, surprisingly, as I was about 5 at the time. It was on a trip to Minnesota, and my dad and myself went in to use the bathroom at a gas station near the highway. The women at the cash register was bawling her eyes out, and when my dad asked her why, she said that Jerry had died. Then he started crying too- one of maybe two times I've seen that happen.
My favorite albums are Terrapin Station, Blues for Allah, and Anthem of the Sun.

I always liked "U.S Blues" (Sic?), for the line "Who am I? I'm Uncle Sam. That's who I am. I've been hiding out. IN a rockin' band."
Miss Mindfuck.

Man, I was about nine years old when I first heard American Beauty. Box of Rain became my favorite song, and I instantly fell in love with The Dead.
