Well, something fairly interesting happened to me at school today! Yet again proving that freedom of speech, even to the point of singing a song, is not tolerated. The song wasn't EXCESSIVELY violent, it didin't even have a swear word in it, at least not in the part I sang.
While sitting down at lunch, I began to sing: "I shot the sherrif, but I did not shoot the deputee..." Not very loudly either. Unfortunately a police sergeant was right behind me! After immediately asking me to come over to him, he began to go into a wild frenzy of saying what basically composed of -
" You think That's funny? "
" You trying to disrespect us you f***ing kid? "
And let's not forget!
" I oughta bash your f***ing skull in, you know that! "
Now, here I was thinking that the United States contitution allowed singing a simple song! But apparently if You say anything that 'confronts' authority, that's grounds for being threaten to be beaten by the police. I'm dead serious about this too!

I'd love to say that sounds bad, but i got arrested in school once, well, i wasnt arrested yet, they were questioning me. The cop got ready to hit me and i said
"you wanna hit me, go ahead, but dont expect me to just sit still"
he hit me 4 times with his stick thing.. in court he said, and all the people in the room "that i physically and verbally assaulted the officer"... yes, bullshit, but i got charged with assault of a police officer, and charged with the offense i was being questioned about (which i would rather keep private)...
this is the wonderful world of free speech... i cant put the blame on the 'capitalist' goverment, but on the police force itself.. i dont really care now, but then, it really made me mad...

i belive the police force has no bussiness in a school. schools are places of education and learning, if they need to arrest someone they should never go inside the school, i mean whats next armed security. school is not a fukkin prison, even tho it might feel that way

Actually.. There is armed security in most Americans Schools, even middle schools. And mind you, I live in a no name suburb with a fairly low crime rate. All the police at school have guns, and that's the only reason I wouldn't get into a fight with them.

When you have kids bringing guns to school and shooting each other its hard not to have police. Also I know at my old high school the police were mainly there for drug enforcement. Apparently my town of 35,000 was part of a major cocaine network.

At least they let you live without imprisoning you or taking your life in communist/totalitarian countries.

What the fuck are you talking about? Cops imprison people all the time. What do you think they do? They have to get some exercise in order to be somewhat mobile after eating a box of donuts everyday.
And yes, you're right, they don't take innocent people's lives. Amadou Diallo's cell phone was a dangerous weapon. And all those people in jail really do hang themselves with their underwear after they're arrested and awaiting trial....

That's an incredibly cheap shot. This post wasn't even about communism to being with. And for your information, communism is an economic system, which totalitarian has a totally different meaning. People in Chile didn't find themselves routinely getting killed by the authorities until Allende was thrown out and Pinochet replaced him . . . we should all be thankful that we don't live in totalitarian states, I know I am, but that was off-topic. Both communist (if you consider Stalin and Co. communist, which I personally don't) and capitalist governments have done awful things to their people. That was beyond stupid.

NO deaths of innocent people?
That's pretty funny, for a country that used to routinely put people to death for being 'witches' and anarchists. Very funny.
As for protesting, it's practically impossible. Police states always win in court. Let's not forget Dan White, the officer who got away with assasinateing the Los Angeles mayor by claiming he ate a bad twinkie.

the thing is ip if someone wants to kill someone they will wether there are cops at the school ar not. weapons should not be brought into a school building, wether its cops or students. i would have nothing against serches but not by armed people. remember cops are human too they abuse their power just like others would

I am against police in schools but who's going to intervene when some psycho kid starts blowing everyones head off with a pistol? What is an alternative to the police in school while still maintaining a somewhat safe environment?
Also, where do you live Drake? the fact that a policeman said fuck to you suprises me. in my town i doubt they would

Sorry, Drake, that sucks. I'm sure you realize the police are way out of control in the US. That said, I hope you were not so foolish as to sing that song _knowing_ there was a police officer sitting behind you. Even if you did, you were in the right, but you can't be too surprised by their reaction.
