Anyone read anything by him? I think he's absolutely great I read One Hundred Years of Solitude and it was one of the greatest pieces of literature i have ever read. Anyone suggest anything else by him that's worth a read?

Marquez is an incredible writer (as well as a great journalist). One Hundred Years Of Solitude is the obvious classic, go for Love In The Time of Cholera next. Though honestly, almost anything by him you get your hands on is invariably going to be great in some way.

Marquez is a lush writer.
If anyone can read past about 15 pages of "Autumn of the Patriarch", I'll buy them a drink. If they can finish it, they have my unbound respect.
I've read 100 Years and Love and other Demons. The local bookshop has most of his books. hmmm Strange pilgrims or Memories of my Melancholy Whores??
