Hi everyone!
First I just want to say that finding this site made me very happy, I am a big fan of discussionboards but almost all the old ones I liked before has been shutdown or become boring. So a new one wich also are international and left-wing is just perfect!
I am 22 year old male living in Uppsala, Sweden. Earlier I worked as an electrician but as it becomes harder and harder to find work in Sweden I have recently started studying again. I choosed to study one of my hobbies, computer science.
I have been active in the left-wing political movement in Sweden since somewhere around 2002. I was active in the Swedish group SUF which is an anarcho-syndicalist youth group in my high school years but when I moved and started working SUF started to fall apart so I joined marxist-leninst movement instead and have been working with them in almost 2 years now.
The political scene in Sweden are not at it's best now, at this moment there is a big right-wing wave and the goverment in sweden are conservativ/liberal now. So it is hard times for a communist in Sweden now, the goverment and the media are currently working hard to take down communism at the same level as nationalsocialism and are trying to bann communist parties from the open society.
