I've been in Hotels with Cubans, beaches and heaven forbid even the disco in a Hotel. OK, you have to register the girl at the front desk before going on into your room, but ever read the "rules" on the door of an American hotel room, technicaly a visitor that decides to spend the night becomes a "guest" if you do not pay the fee even in America thats illigal. I remember when I was about 14 long haired surfer type, was asked to leave the Ritz on Lagona beech in California because security did'nt/could'nt believe I was a guest. But when Cubans do the same thing the Miami criminals twist and turn it into there anti-Castro agenda.

I have also seen a little old man with a old M1 rifle who was just a plain old citizen, riding his bike down the street. Also been in restraunts that people have set-up in there houses as long as they have a license every thing is fine. Open a restraunt in your house without a licsense and see what happens in the good ol USA! Betcha its more than what I know happens in Cuba.....

First post not bad for a social concious capitalist pig.

They have internet in Cuba, so you never know Pappa Fidel may show up. It amazes me how American journalists print B.S like that filled with lies. If the average American knew what Cuba was really like they would demand to live like them....

There is a reason why you have to get a license to sell food. It's so that environmental health (or the american equivalent) can check that you're preparing, cooking and selling food in a safe way.

I can't comment on American hotels though. I've only been in Egyptian hotels.
