I mentioned this in the Obama thread so I didn't want to hijack it so I decided to start my own thread on this. So many here are saying not to vote and while I understand where you're coming from and generally would be doing the same thing as you are there's just so much that has happened in the last seven years with George Bush. I want to get rid of the ultra right for good and stamp them out of public office because of all the damage they have done and also get back the Constitution. So for those of you in favor of not voting how do you get back people's rights such as privacy? Since there aren't enough people to do a revolution what else is there? Especially when you have so many people in law enforcement going on the side opposite of the Constitution. Even socialist country's like Venezuela have a Constitution and a Supreme Court. So what are your solutions? This is one of my two main reason's for voting this next November. One to defeat the ultra rightwing and two to get back the Constitution. And for those of you know me know I'm still fairly new to Communism and being a communist and am a former liberal so I'm still figuring this part out. George Bush and the neocons have just made things so awful these last seven years I just want to do what I can to help even if that means supporting the bourgeoisie state just to get things back on track. :blushing:

I agree with you, someone is going to win anyway, we might as well try to make sure that the elected person is the one that harms us the least, and benefits us the most.
