Someone posted a link to this party on the revleft and MIM thread. Man what a group. They support Jiang Ching, Juche, Pol Pot and Jim Jones. They are some kind of rural commune in South Carolina. I'd assume they were just an internet joke but they do have a South Carolina PO Box.

Yeah. We know about these nutters.
You confuse me Jacobin. On the one hand, you are a revisionist. On the other hand, you talk a lot about the MIM/IRTR/MSH brand of crack-pot nutcase wack ultra-left deviation "Maoism" that would hate you for being a Dengist.
Care to clarify?

Why would they support Pol Pot? After the Vietnamese drove the KR out of power, Ieng Saray (i think that was his name) declared that the KR were not communists. I just read a great book about Cambodia, Cambodia, 1975-1982. Fascinating stuff, and it didn't really deal with the autogenocide.

I've seen their myspace page. It's got pictures of the commune, which is a trailer with a Soviet, DPRK, and East German flag. They offer "Thought Reform Study Sessions."

In other words, they are a reclusive cult.
It is then fitting that they revere Jim Jones, Who knows, they may one day follow his example.
