View Full Version : AMERICA!

Forgive me if I have already said something very similar, but I can’t remember where I put it!!!
FACT: AMERICA IS FULL OF “TERRORISTS”
Many of the ameri**** people have given money to the PIRA (provisional Irish republican army). The PIRA sort(ed) out the IRA (Irish republican army) funding. For those of you who don’t know, the IRA was a proper terrorist organisation.
They murdered so many innocents. These are the terrorists that the ameri**** fools should be putting a stop to. Not the innocents that America appears to enjoy bombing.
The IRA have now supposedly started “disarmament” but as ever is still plagued by different groups (now there is the “real IRA”!!!) so not all are giving up their weapons.
Some of the IRA’s actions I have supported (I myself live in the UK so know how imperialistic the british government is/was) but the terrorism I do not. The IRA has taken a vast amount of terrorist action. They have murdered so many, but this cannot all be put on the shoulders of the IRA. As per usual, thugs in side the organisation are to blame in many cases, but still is this organisation a terrorist one???
And if so (which it should be counted as, going by ameri**** guidelines for what is counted as terrorism) shouldn’t they be persecuted? Not poor countries, (that can’t defend them selves) which by coincidence just happen to be connected with fossil fuels???
If America opened its sown up eyes and truly looked, it would see that they themselves were responsible for some of the PIRA’s funding. OH MY GOD this makes America a terrorist country???!?!?!?!?!?!?! Ach well, appears they may have to bomb them selves.
Yeah sure
Yet again this is America talking out of its arse. Just coz they’re the supreme power who act in the name of god!
Bollocks to America
May god destroy america

It's not fair to condemn the entire US for the actions of a few.

sorry if i've offended, but the only americans i've come into contact with have been idiots. On a whole they are, sorry. No american will agree, because they are on top. they don't see it like others do.
Americans on a whole are a patriotic bunch of blind fools. This is my mere opinon, and is a reflection of what i've seen and experianced.

Well thanks for calling me an idiot, I suppose I've been called worse. Oh I forgot, I'm not an american.
Well James I completely agree that americans have supported the various forms of the IRA in Ireland and are now blind to the fact that they were supporting terrorism. OF course it was sold to them as a romatic freedom fight when in fact it was/is a cold and calculated attempt at ethnic cleansing of protestants by republicans.
James, what has america done to hurt you so much? This is a Britney Spears thing isn't it?

where i live, i'm slowly seeing my world changing. Everyone is becoming an american. They stand for everything i'm against (nearly). All of my friends are changing, my area is changing, my countries moving more and more to the right. I am attacked every day for my beliefs. I feel the situation is getting very desperate, i'm scared of what the future holds. I don't know where u live, but here, even when u turn the TV on its ameri****s all ameri****s. And at the moment tony blair is just licking bushes ass. I REALLY CAN"T STAND IT

James, don't confuse the actions of Tony Blair and the insipid junk the media pushes on you as being the real state of things.
You sound very concerned. Have you joined your local political groups? You may feel better once you find a community of like-thinkers (that's what is so great about the internet).
It sounds as if you dislike the US because of your loss of national identity and culture. Yet do you really have one or are we moving towards a western world identity and culture? Keep asking questions, friend, and demand answers.

thank you, thats really helpfull.
Its hard to get involved in anything political up here, unless its the BNP (british national party), which are a really scary bunch of nazis. Also its dangerous!!!
Its very right winged here, with anything differnet a death wish, as i have learned. So do you think it would be wise to join the young cmmunist league?

May god destroy americaHey, pal, if you really want to change things you might want to switch your slogan to "May G-d destroy America." (I don't care if you capitalize America or not, but there are a bunch of Jews over here and we spell "Hashem" G-d.) Is it a wonder that the country with the worst education system in the industrialized world (or second- or third-worst, I can't remember exactly) is the country that didn't sign the Kyoto treaty and cares so little about politics and especially foreign policy? If you educate Americans well and make them care, then a lot of the issues near and dear to you will be addressed.
As far as your comments about "the only americans i've come into contact with," yes, I'm an American and yes, I disagree. If you've met Americans, that means a) they were tourists over by you, or B) you've gone on vacation in America. If they were tourists, then yes, you can expect them to be idiots. I take it you're in the UK, and any American who can afford to go to the UK probably won't share your ideology. I might, and I've only been to the UK once to visit my best friend (and meet with the directors of some social programs in London). If you've been a tourist in the United States, I doubt you went over to the slums where people are desperate for a change and are willing to work for it. Most of the people you met would have been, what, tour guides? Not the finest example of our citizenry, I admit.
Either way, I really doubt that you've met a wide enough range of Americans. As such a diverse country, the only people you met were probably middle-class, mostly white and mostly Christian. You don't know all of us. I despise this country's government and would do anything to change it and I resent what my fellow citizens do at home and abroad when it comes to over-influencing others and throwing ethics out the window with business practices, but to say that all Americans are ignorant is ignorant itself.

IWDY, you are so right...Americans abroad.....yeeesh!!!
James, what's up these days with the Labour party? I haven't been paying attention. It's better, in my opinion, to become part of the mainstream process and learn before moving to the fringe. Perhaps the Labour party's policies are not to your liking, but you still may find some kindred souls there.

our labour party is basically a liberial party with a fancy name. All our public services are in danger of being privatised, at the moment trains are being attacked. The train owners have even gone as far as replacing union members (like drivers, guards etc.) with none members. Its a dissgrace. Unions are on the rise, and the goverment doesn't like it and is doing all in its power to stop it. OUr trains ar the worst in europe!!! my girl friend got gropped on one the other week coz every ones so crowded and no one cares bout any one. Our NHS (national health service) is a shambles too, emergency cases have even been sent to germany and france to get medical attention. Hospitals are also been sold, to "improve" the NHS. hmmmmm
i don't hate all americans, i'm sorry i got carried away!!! i do appologise if u were offended.

Yes there are stupid Americans and a lot of them, but there are stupid Brits, stupid Scots, stupid Frenchmen. Most of the world is stupid. It just so happens that Americans travel the most and have the loudest pop culture. --And with stupid people the world over, it's no surprise that Survivor is popular in Ireland as well!
What people 'over there' also don't get is that America is huge. To really cover the range of people in America, it's unfair to compare it with the UK etc. More fair would be to compare it to the EU...
Also, don't confuse the government with the people. I think Bush is an asshole too. Most people do. But I sure as fuck don't like having to pay to kill Iraqi and Afghani children. Apparently however, our Government can be benevolent and if I don't want to pay taxes for that, I must be a rich old anti-semite.

i agree with winkle. our majority is stupid, but i take no responsibility for the country in which i live, much less do i, obviously, support them. stupid people are everywhere, america is just another haven for them.
