Sorry I presumed that most, even people with no interest in the subject, knew who they and Habash were.

I don't know everything about the group, but from what I can tell, they are revolutionaries who are most definitely committed to opposing and overthrowing imperialism in the region. They deserve a great measure of our support for standing up to Zionism.
For people who don't know, the PFLP is the second-largest group within the PLO, making them a significant force in Palestine.

Marxist Leninist, secular group who oppose Israeli Zionism/Fascism/Imperialism. Probably the only group in Palestine who I "unconditionally" support.

What do you think of their methods?
The plane highjackings, suicide bombers etc.???

As far as I know (and I don't know for certain) the PFLP does not use suicide bombers.
I'm totally cool with the high jackings.

They have used them, but I think they stopped.

Oooops. My bad.
I wonder to what extent these were ordered by the PFLP.
Suicide bombings don't make that much sense in a somewhat secular orginization.

What if I were to spin this around and say how does everyone feel the PFLP compares with the DFLP?
Personally, I am more on the support of the DFLP (though I have friends connected to the political wing of the PFLP) because I think that in order for there to be peace, you need a secular multinational state, and in order for that to happen, you need communication and understanding between likeminded groups on both sides, like how the DFLP had many ties with Matzpen.

Suicide bombings don't make that much sense in a somewhat secular orginization.
Their suicide bombings are not performed out for "martyrdom". Their suicide bombings are performed for lack of any other option. They don't have tanks, the Israelis do, they don't have planes, the israelis do, they dont have guns, the israelis do. People always freak out when someone mentions suicide bombing...but you don't understand that there's nothing else that they can do to react to the Israeli's aggression.
"terrorism is a horrible weapon, but it is the only weapon the oppressed have." Jean Paul Sartre.
btw never confuse the PFLP with the PFLP-GC(General command). the General command is a new party that split with the original pflp because they believed they "spent too much time talking about marxist thought and less time using violence".
LONG LIVE THE PFLP!!! REST IN PEACE GEORGE HABASH!! EL JABHA MA BIT MOOT!!!!(ARABIC FOR: THE FRONT NEVER DIES)

I don't recall "freaking out". I thought that justification might be why. But it seems to me, if you can build a bomb and put it on your chest, you can build a bomb and put it in a bag and leave or throw it or something. It seems like a waste of personnel that is all.
And I'm aware of the difference between the PFLP and the PFLP-GC.

No matter how justifiable it may be, it is still an illogical option. All it does is create a media frenzy that provides Israel with a justification that they can sell to the world. It is a completely useless strategy. Whopdidoo, there goes an Israeli bus, and some Israeli citizens who in all probability did nothing to the Palestinians except be born on stolen land (a crime of which every white north american is also guilty). So what? Now the world see's this as an overbloated act of horror and they side with the "victim".
What is accomplished? Nothing!
When dealing with a powerful oppressor, the worst weapon the oppressed yeild is irrational acts of emotional despairation. When you have a problem, you will not help it by acting on emotions, you must stop and think logically on every action or you will lose whatever you have left.
