Hey everyone,
I was pretty excited to find this forum. My name is Mike, and I live in Nova Scotia.
I'm a socialist (of the communistic bent), but I hope to learn more about the variety of positions on the left. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!
:)

Hey Mike. Im from Canada too. In fact I live in Newfoundland. So you are just a short distance across the waters from Argentia to North Sydney from me.
How sweet it is to meet not only a canadian but an atlantic canadian from a next door province to me. How sweet is that?

It's pretty awesome actually. It's at the waterfront from like 8-1 on Saturdays. Farmers, Cooks and Craftspeople bring their stuff. There's a lot of organic vegetables and free range meat (if you eat meat, even if you don't though, it's still there). It's not as big as the Halifax Market, but it's pretty decent.
AAAnd it supports local producers!
