I'm not sure why the jazz moderator seems so threatened. Is it really that bad when people might answer my questions?

Someone also suggested that future societies are conjecture, I agree in a sense. Like who knows what the next big industry or the name of a street in some future society. But we're talking about things you know are going to happen. Right? You guys state that production is in the hands of the workers/society/people. Than you can certainly answer the questions I have about production.

So I'll ask them again. One person contributed an answer which was basically a government. I wanted to know if the pure anarchists, could give the low down on these questions.

---------------------------
So let's say I work at the cement factory. A very important industry since it builds infrastructure and stuff like that.

Did I end up working at the cement factory because society told me to work there, or because I chose to work there?

In the cement factory, who determines what position I have?

In the cement factory, is there people that have superior positions that tell me what to do?

What happens if I only feel like working one hour a week?

Can people come to the cement factory and just get a bucket of cement?

------

Let's talk about the will of society.

I was talking about someone about this, and if I seized property, basically if I could keep my hands on it would be determined by the will of society.

How is the will of society determined?

How are the needs of society determined?

If there's a vote, how does the populous know the results are accurate?

How many people make up "society"? Like a town(50,000)? County(100,000)? Country(300,000,000)?

How long does it take to determine the will of society on a particular issue?

What happens to individuals in society that has impure communist thoughts(Like recognizing private property)? If nothing, how many individuals would there need to be before the communists of society to view them as a threat? If they were viewed a threat, what would society do to them?

Let's say I'm a farmer now.. I work with a few people and we produce the food for society.

Does society set a quota for the amount of food needed to feed society?

If I have to work 100hrs a week to produce that quota, what would be my motivation to produce it?

If I didn't meet the quota, which means people are going to starve, do I get eat first, since well, I can just eat it?

----
Let's talk motivation. Since all the necessities of life are provided already for me, based on need. Why would I goto work? What exactly would be my "motivation" to go produce cement?

I guess all the questions sort of boil down this. Why do I need to goto work and produce value for the world when I don't need too?

---------------------
Another great question.

Let's say I found the cure for cancer. Society and everyone knows it. And I say, "I'm only going to cure people of cancer if they recognize the cure as my property and that I'm allowed to profit with it. If not, no one gets cured."

What would happen to said person?

-----------------------

I have a feeling this will be closed because questions can be quite good for cutting through the fluff. I know jazz that'll you lock it under the guise of protecting everyone from answering my questions. At least now I know these questions are good.

Oh yeah Jazz, the FAQ only answers one of those questions. And it's really your particular held ideology, so I'd like all to answer it.

Thanks!

1) You already started a thread on your criticisms ("why I hate..."), so the questions not answered by the FAQ can go in there. Making a new thread is just a waste of time and makes the board look messy.

2) There has been every effort made to remain ideologically neutral in the FAQ (thus the answers are broad and the questions few) and members of any ideology are free to PM me with changes, as was mentioned to those who suggested the FAQ in the first place.

3) Even if their was ideological bias it would more likely be Ulster Socialist's (not that I'm suggesting he wrote a deliberately biased piece) as he played a large part in the FAQ's conception.

4) Don't self-aggrandise, it makes you look a tit.
