. It is an undeniable fact that America gets wealthier every year. Not because of some gobal conspiracy but because people earn a lot and buy a lot.

Did you not say that? what are you saying? I took it to mean America does not need the rest of the world. It
can get by by its own hard work.

World relations are very important. Every time the U.S. has practiced isolationism a world war breaks out. There is no way around it. We are trying to hep the world but if we help to much people see it as the US trying to take over. Its a lose lose situation.

Sometimes They Tell the Truth:
"We have 50 percent of the world's wealth, but only 6.3 percent of its population. . . In this situation we cannot fail to be the object of envy and resentment. Our real task in the coming period is to devise a pattern of relationships which will allow us to maintain this position of disparity. We should cease to talk about the raising of the living standards, human rights, and democratization. The day is not far off when we are going to have to deal in straight power concepts. The less we are then hampered by idealistic slogans, the better."
-- George Kennan, Director of Policy Planning of the U.S. Dept. of State, 1948

"War is just a racket. A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of people. Only a small inside group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few at the expense of the masses.
I believe in adequate defense at the coastline and nothing else. If a nation comes over here to fight, then we'll fight. The trouble with America is that when the dollar only earns 6 percent over here, then it gets restless and goes overseas to get 100 percent. Then the flag follows the dollar and the soldiers follow the flag.

The wars have been about expanding into other peoples territories.
America pays the smallest per centage of its GDP to
UN relief of all the world's countries.
Are you really unaware of all these facts?

The United States is not innocent. There have been some rotten dictatorships and corrupt democracies supported by this country.

Quite frankly I'd like to see the United States start using their power to create more Democracy.

Like this war in Afgahnistan.

I want to see Sadamm Hussein on the hit list - next to Bin Laden's name, then maybe Castro for dessert.

Everybody should enjoy the freedoms we have here.

Capitalism=war.
Refute that one.

the point you are delibrately ignoring is your niave conclusion that America is helping the world, when
it is a racket .
Did you know that Wall St financed Hitler?
You want America to use its power to enforce democracy.
What gives it the right to enforce anything on another sovereign nation.
Talk about defending the indefensible.

Peaccenicked, we were making such progress with getting friendly debates going. Now your reverting back to your routine bull shit. What does WW2 have to do with today? Henry Ford supported Hitler too, he helped that create assembly lines for Volks Wagen, but that was before the war started. You want to talk about real Nazi support look at the Nazi movement in Britain. They almost killed winston churchhill. A lot of turncoats there. But what does that have to do with capitalism?

What you are deliberatly ignoring is the facts. You want so badly for there to be some conspiracy you'll turn any information around. I'm sorry peaccenicked but your arguments dont hold up.

You started that. What has nazism to do with capitalism
every thing. Big business supported the nazis to crush the grow socialist movement
and they support hiding the nature of imperialism to the people now. How can you support intervention in other counties to create democracy when that is a con . it has never been a war goal and never will be. You either support this racket against
the world's peoples or you are extremely niave about what the system you are proud of is actually doing

Is it just me, or does imperialist sound a lot live reagan lives? It's that whole thing about "what does the past (WWII) have to do with anything?" line of his.

I wonder if a child molesting murderer moved next door to him and said, "Hey, that's all in the past," if he'd say, "Cool, my man, let's go have a beer." I hope so, but I doubt it.

The idea that 'isolationism would mean world war' is standard Imperialist propaganda. If you watch the History channel, you will find it is mainly triumphalistic
and crude propaganda.
It is amazing how unquestioning Imperial and capitalist
are at recieved information perhaps we should get
some professional deproggrammer to seek them out.

Ruthlessness also in analysing left wing media
for all there is of it. No Tv programmes little radio
few articles in the liberal papers all there is mostly is the net and thats not for everybody.
To the main point we do'nt like any form of bull.
We have heard everything, and I mean everything
you have got to say in some form or other from the dominant right wing media or from other right wingers.
You all seem to soak up patriotic nonsense like you live on it. You seem to think for your country, instead of thinking for yourselves. When your mainstream media is a big lie machine aimed to cover up gangsterism and the racket called imperialism. You seem totally fooled by it.
