Howdy! Not too sure what to say about myself...but well i'm 18 years old, i've just started uni and i'm studying English.
I'm from a mixed heritage of Norwegian, French, English, Native American and Persian if that's of any interest, but i like it because it means all those people from such different cultures and distances actually found a common bond, so i think that's quite nice...ahem.
I like reading and i've always been interested in history and current affairs, probably because my dad has had the news channel on 24/7 for the majority of my life and i've seen many a weary Newsnight.
I admire Che Guevara a lot! I'm currently reading Anderson's biography of him and i have to say...it's left me in love with Ernesto a wee bit (damn those photos in the middle of the book i say! - distracting me from his beautiful ideals!).
I like The Smiths, David Bowie, Damien Rice and Blondie, my favourite film is Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas...that was facebook info, so sorry :tongue_smilie:
Anyway, i've always considered myself a lefty and i think this will be a great place to learn new things and hear fresh opinions!
