I tend to agree with him a lot.

Most of what i know is just from reading his books and reading about him.
I could probably find an accurate site about him, if you would like.

I've only read The Monkey Wrench Gang, but I have to say it is one of the best books I've read in the last few years. I've read it a few times now, it is great.
For those of you who don't know, this book was actually the inspiration for groups like Earth First and the Earth Liberation Front (the biggest domestic terrorist threat in the USA, according to the FBI...).
As for his philosophy, I don't know what it is, but what I get from one book that I've read, it is anti-capitalism, anti-destroying natural beauty (if purely for aesthetic reasons), but not pro-environmentalism. He isn't really pro anything as far as I can tell from that book, but as I said, I've only read the one book, so...
