Can you help me debunk the eco-leftists and all enviroment-passionate people who claim to be progressive? I mean I know that nature is connected absolutely with darwinism and natural selection and its clearly easy to connect this with social darwinism, right-wing, fascism and all these kinds of shit. I am probably not so educated to make all these connections, but is there someone who can help me?
I can clearly see the right-wing attitude winner gets all in nature but I can't form it as a theory. I can clearly see the line, enviromentalist --> pro nature ---> pro darwinism ---> pro social darwinism ---> pro capitalism ---> anti-communist, but I can't invent a theory to support it.
All help is appreciated, thank you:)

I must disagree, most eco-leftists are purely greens as in they want to stop the cappies raping our world for resources and killing off animal species. I agree with Darwinism while social Darwinists actually misinterpret the theory of evolution. Darwin didn't advocate "survival of the fittest" he stressed the need to adapt to your surroundings. the eco-leftists are often seriously lacking in theory and knowledge however and are just raw idealists with no Idea about how to achive socialism. they campaign on one issue(that is the environment) and not all the other things the left campaigns about. but no they aren't social Darwinists

I think you're wrong on several levels. While I find the tree huggers irritating at times (due to their lack of materialism, naive idealism, and narrow scope) but they are not reactionaries, fascists, or anti-communists (note: there are a few eco-Fascists. Check out the National Socialist Libertarian Green Party, for instance).
And the link between Darwinism and Social Darwinism is false. People who support Darwinism no longer uphold the theory of Social Darwinism which has been debunked for a very very long time and is fundementally a misinterpretation of Darwin's theory.
I have never met an environmentalist who upholds social darwinism. Ever.

I don't mean that all of the tree huggers are conciously fascists but I say that supporting "nature's way" like a lot of people I know say, is simple social darwinism. Do you disagree? Do you think that laws of nature are more leftist? Pleasure and Pain systems in individuals which are probably more likely to get more (daily) pleasure if they are on c00l genes and not some (short ugly fuckhead dick) genes that go in a manner like "die out because you fucking should" style?. VERY leftwing..... do you agree?

Look, natures way is that you need to change to survive, it's not pleasant but that's how things are. now most leftists accept this, it's not social Darwinism because we don't try and affect it we just go about things and try to help the weak. so no even most eco-leftists are not social darwinists

K, your whole argument is one big logical fallacy. Drosera has already addressed some of it, so I'll just have a go at this bit.
"Social Darwinism" and biocentrism are NOT the same thing. Social Darwinism is the idea behind eugenics and Nazi ideas about racial purity. It has nothing to do with environmentalism. Nothing.
Also, most environmentalists don't believe that the "laws of nature" (whatever that means- it looks like you mean natural selection, which you then take to be interchangable with social Darwinism- which is rubbish of course) are the correct way for society to be organised- that's just bullshit.
Your whole argument, i.e. that environmentalist = fascist rests on a collection of buzzwords thrown together with little regard for what they actually mean.

Ok some points here.
1) I didn't say that EVERY enviromentalist is FASCIST and he knows that, I stated that before. I just said that supporting nature's way is supporting a fascist system.
2) I knew that my argument would be a big logical fallacy because I simply had NO argument, thats why I posted this in the learning section and not in the sciences enviroment section, whatever.
3) Do you claim that ALL enviromentalists have absolutely nothing to do with 'nature's way'? You say that they only want to protect bear rights whatever and then support the proletariat in building a communist society? Don't you thing they are bound to be bio-conservative in a point later in future society?

No... that's why I said most...
Why would you post a discussion topic you know is bullshit.

I just said that supporting nature's way is supporting a fascist system.
What does 'supporting natures way' mean?
Regardless, fascism as an ideology (and when i say fascist i mean fascist - as in Italy and so forth) has little to do with environmentalism.

The Nazi's were very green in many respects but that doesn't mean that most green activists nowadays are. In fact more often than not They're leftists
