First how do you spell kicten. Now on to my great idea. Communist soup places, were the poor eat soup and we give them info on communism. Good deeds and new recruits in one swoop. What do you think about that, eh.

Sounds good but it will take a lot of organising. First you need to rent a place, then you need to get all the equipment and food and stuff, and you need to get exposure so people know what your doing, and you probably will have to inform the local council. It's a really good idea, don't give up on it, but it will take a lot of work. Where would you have it? I'd be happy to help out when I get a bit older, like in hols next year and stuff.

You just can't bribe the masses like that, the homeless people will sense some shit is wrong and think communists are becoming more and more like evangelical preachers everyday.

Good point, Ian Rocks. And also if you did it, you'd need loads of money and be able to put the communism on the back burner so to speak.

I dont know if the homeless are the people that can acheive communism, they need help and to be fair they have other things on their minds. The organised working class can acheive socialism, work with them instead. Leave soup kitchens to charities.

this is a fabulous idea, soup kitchens are great. At the local one that I volunteer at people are there before the place opens, waiting in line to get there food, although they're always going to get theirs, they make sure they are there. You could simply post things around the place, let them read on their own, it would have an effect. Make sure the workers/volunteers know what's up, be able to explain what's on the walls. And maybe you could say serve lunch at 11:30, Give a speech once a week or somethin at 11. People would be there. You could try and help get them jobs in a local party organization or just apart of the working class. That's compassion, that's socialism.

I think that would be a great idea, teach people that communism is about compassion and helping others, not massive military parades and four hour speeches (even though they are cool too.)

I'm not talking about preaching like those Christians. Just helping out and explaining how under communism they would have better lives, but all low key. But it is mostly about helping people. (And postive press...)

sounds like ungdomshusets folkekøkken and/or røddernes køkken... not a new idea you have come up with. that was two places where I live where we have it. still they're not communistic! the first is anarchistic and the second is only recruiting for PGA-Denmark. I don't like the idea and don't approve it...
