Who is in your opinion the worst fictional character you have ever encountered? You should motivate, and at least imging an image to your post.

The Master from Fallout. For a start he is Fascistic and extremely authoritarian. He wants to replace humans with 'Super Mutants' and all those who refuse to be turned into 'Super Mutants' will be sterilised or executed if they resist. He also has absolute power in his organisation.

I think Mr. Burns is the best worst character of the last 20 years. I think he's the new symbol of capitalism in the US. Although Daniel Day-Lewis in "There will be Blood" is my new favorite embodiment of capitalism.

I think when we get into arguments with capitalisms-apologists that don't go anywhere we should just start shouting: "I drink your milkshake! I DRINK IT UP!"

Ba'al from Stargate SG-1 is the best villian by far.

Have you been speaking to BGM?

My vote would have to go to the Daleks. Nearly invincible robots obsessed with mechanistic racial purity. And they killed almost all of the Time Lords!

Satan from the bible. Satan from "Paradise Lost" is better.

I love the Fairly Oddparents. Just thought I'd say that.

Satan from "Paradise Lost" is better.
But he's not a villain. He's just an awesome dude.

As for the best villain:

Tetsuo the most evil fictional villain? Maybe my opinion is skewed, as I have only seen the movie, but I can't really pigeonhole him as 'EVIL'. In fact, I felt pretty sympathetic towards him throughout the movie.

Mr. Nezu, however, was a capitalist bastard and I cheered when he choked on his pills.

Actually, now that you mention it, didn't Akira sort of have anti-capitalist undertones? I know outright communist rebellion is never mentioned, but the way they portray capitalism (riot police everywhere, mindless consumption, poverty) doesn't look that positive.

Actually, yeah. I was on his side the whole movie, too. In the manga he's a little more evil. Basically it was an excuse to put up my former avatar.

Ba'al?! Ba'h!

Surely Anubis is more evil than Ba'al?

He planned (and came very close to) wiping out all life in the universe!

Just look at that hand wringing! ^^^

Actually, Anubis was pretty goddamn evil. I like him even more than Palpatine, who he is clearly modeled after. I agree, Anubis is much more evil than Baal. His robe and voice were the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiz.

Still, Tetsuo was more powerful, though Anubis is more evil.

Anyone who hasn't seen this wonderfulyl prescient film by Tim Robbins, whereby a populist far-right folk-singer cons his way to the presidency - should!

To Quote Dawkins:

"The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully."
