Well not excactly, but i found an interesting article in wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_capitalism
I am not a big fan of corporatism, or even capitalism, but i do see many advantages in a "free market economy". Free market economy or economic liberalism does not equal anarcho-capitalist corporatism. But the one thing in this article I somewhat can relate to is the notion that capitalism and economic 'liberalism' can be used by socialism.
F.ex. Where are you as socialists going to get the funds for the free healthcare, education etc that you stand for? Taxation right? But what are you going to taxate, if noone can make money?? Its going to drain out after a while.
We can all see this in totalitarian socialist post-revolution countries. They have no economic freedom. When noone can make progress etc etc... We know the drill, and even tho its hard for many hardcore marxists out there to digest, the "evil capitalists" actually have a pretty good point in this.
Social capitalism is not like libertarian socialism, or social-liberalism, in the way of beeing "moderate socialism". It is more of a free maket economy, or "capitalist system" that is actually working to raise the standard of living of the lower class, through economic growth and competitiveness, working by the phrase "By decreasing poverty, capital market participation is enlarged."
But again there is something in this that i dont find totally satisfying. Although the main thought is to have people to have an equal chance in economic market participation, and equal basic human rights like education, and healthcare, it still stands for a type of unfair capitalist system in other fields, that's not totally equal. By that i mean, of course, is that people with more money, or "capital", will still have much greater benefits, like we see much of in the United States today.
So the main thought is: Why should you destroy it completely, when you can use it? And btw, i am not a hardcore inbread social-capitalist idealist because i read an article about it in wikipedia. Im just trying to put in some new ideas into your single-track pseudo revolutionary head. Peace m8.
