On saturday about 300 to 400 members of the NPD ( National Democrat Party ) and other neonazistic/neofascist organizations protested in Hannover against immigration, shouting racist slogans.

The antifascist action had already organized a big demonstration against racism and fascism, but we were
only allowed to show our discontent by peacefully protesting several miles away from the Nazis, while the NPD was allowed to march through the city center, heavily protected by police forces.

Of course nobody cared, and we tried everything to stop the Nazis. About 40 people ( including me ) blocked the street in front of the Nazis, while 1500 antifascists blocked the sidestreets and defended the central railway station. All of us ( 40 ) were arrested, several people were injured, but we managed to keep the police forces ( about 200 on our front ) busy for 2(!) hours. The march of the Fascist pigs then had to be redirected.
The Nazis lost two hours of precious time, which means they couldn't reach their intended goal, which was to march past the holocaust memorial.
Also, some of the fascists had to be brought to a nearby hospital because their hollow skulls had been hit by paving-stones. :)

good shit

similair to the shit that happened during weimar republic, while the workers attack govt on economic issues, class consious members should revolt

lets hope the unions organise, for ultimately a general strike

go for it!

On the same day there was quite a large protest organized by the DGB against agenda 2010.

I hope so too, the social market economy in Germany is suffering the same fate as all 'static' mixed economies ( those that are not in some kind of transition phase, but are rather 'capitalism light' ).

The ruling party already lost A LOT of support. During the next elections the people will probably be fooled into believing that the conservatives will do better. The next government will be a conservative/neoliberal one. When they fail as well, the people will finally have to realize that social security and a market economy are really incompatible.

So when the big crises hits the country ( economic growth is already close to zero ) we have to be ready, hopefully the masses will be more receptive for the truth then. If the unions and the true leftwing parties finally do what they are supposed to do are chances are not so bad.
