He looks like hes painting, but it looks like they just put Koopa at the edge of the canvas and wait for him to walk across it.

Look at the close up pictures at the end. They're actually very impressive!

There are more videos of his work on youtube. Some of the patterns look difficult to believe they werent created intentionally.

I was disappointed to find that this thread wasn't actually about the villain from Super Mario Bros.
Yes, the painting does look like fire. I doubt that was intentional. Still, I must admit that the turtle's painting is far more aesthetically pleasing than most other postmodern art, and certainly superior to the IKEA drivel so favored these days by petty-bourgeoisie.
