Well, if things will continue the way they are here in IsraelPalestine than we're standing infront of a revolution. The goverment is destroying the trade-unions, bringing terrible cuts on the workig class and opressing with great force the palestinians in the occupied territories and inside Israel.

But sadly, there is no big workers movement - the lefty's in here are all capitalist-pacifists. The biggest communist party (ICP - Israeli Communist Party) are mostly reformists and guys who are still trying to justify the russian stalinism. There are beginings of socialist movements ('The Socialist Struggle' for instance, the israeli section of the CWI), but they are very small.

My guess is, that if we'll see a revolution in Israel, it will sadly be a fascist or a religious one.

"Revolution in Russia", "Revolution in China" and "Revolution in Cuba" probably sounded pretty laughable at the time.

What I wnay to know is, in which country do the Marxist rebels control the most land/people? I know the FARC control a lot of Columbia, and in Nepal, the rebels have about 5 whole provinces.
