I come in peace, and with a call for solidarity.
I am not a member of the group Anonymous, who you may or may not have heard of, but I come with a message from them. They have sent me out to speak to you and other groups about the church of scientology. If you do not know what the church of scientology is, it is a cult. It recruits people by exploiting their fears, and then very slowly and very systematically strips them of their individuality.
For decades, Scientology has been using illegal, deceitful, and brutal tactics subjugate their members. They force members to work abusively long hours, take their money, threatening to separate them from their families if they do not comply (referred to in Scientology as "disconnection"). Anyone who dissents or speaks to the press is followed, harassed, and alienated from the society they have come to trust.
Members of the press who have published negative articles, or who have investigated Scientology have discovered have been physically threatened, followed and defamed. (Paulette Cooper)
So far, Scientology has been relatively successful in this regard, with tens of millions of dollars in capital behind them.
This is flat-out oppression, and capitalism at its aboslute worst.
In response to this threat many people from all walks of life are uniting to protest this dangerous organization on Feb 10th. World wide protests are planned in dozens of countries around the world, in hundreds of cities. Find out about anti-Scientology protests in your area by searching Google.
You may have heard some negative things about Anonymous from news or media, but please do not dismiss this message. These people need our help.
