There was a pretty small march up the main street here in Auckland (NZ too). Around 70-100 people. There's also a workers picnic being organised by workers, as oppossed to union officials, this weekend. In my part of town too, shock horror we always miss out in the south :(
I was pretty disappointed with the turnout, I had hoped the anti war movement would move into the may day action too.
