My name is Thomas, i don't have a specific idealogy perhaps just anarchist, collectivism, and diy ethic. I am against alienation that democracy and majority rule philosophies of government preach.
I am still in the process of educating myself. I am from reno, nevada.
Originally I came from Southern California, Orange County area.
I am in college trying to decide what i want to study, and i am looking for travel buddies and travel tips.

Against democracy and majority rule, but a collectivist and anarchist?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you.

Either way, welcome!

There's no majority rule in our so-called democracies...only the spectacle of it.

The elite are what's truly in control.

and Welcome to the board! :)

Democracy preaches alienation when you have people represent you and mob rule. Anarchism is about individualism and you can have that in collectives. Thanks and it's nice meeting you both.

Welcome! People here like to debate ideas - for example:

Personally I think democracy is the best way for a large group of individuals to come up with a collective decision. I think the concept of democracy get polluted in capitalist society because parliaments and congress aren't real democracy and private business still really has control over society rather than workers.
