Blood type switches after liver transplant

Found this fairly interesting. Apparently when this girl was nine years old she had a liver transplant, and some stem cells migrated or some such to her bone marrow and her blood type transitioned to that of the donors.

I was about to post this. It is a huge deal. The girls entire immune system essentially adapted to fit her donor. If scientists can figure out to replicate this, it will make a huge impact on the viability of organ donations.
