Is anyone on this board from the Anti-Racist Action (ARA) in Toronto? I'm looking for some info, and I haven't been able to find anyone from the ARA online...

Im in the ARA here in the U.S., well Connecticut to be more specific. I will check around in the paper work and see if there is anythink in Toronto for you :) Im sure it will say something about it so I'll get back to you on it :)

I used to be involved with ARA here in Toronto, but haven't had any noteworthy communication with them for a couple years now.

Well, I did find their website, but I don't know when/where their meetings are, if they do schedule any meetings. I was told about them by a friend of mine, but he too, doesn't know of any way to contact them. I did see their banner at one of the anti-war rallies here, but other than that, I haven't seen anything...

So if anyone has their contact info, please let me know.

I have some contact with various people in ARA-Toronto.

I don't know how often they have meetings & when/if they are open to the public, but they have events every now and then... I set up a Young Left table at the last event.

You could phone and leave them a message with the # that is on the website or email them.

What exactly did you want to find out? If you leave your email I can have someone get in touch with you....

What I want to know is whether they're interested in organizing something against the police state and racial profiling etc. by Toronto police. Would love to see some sort of protest happen about that. :biggrin:
