being born and raised in Amerika every day i wake up disgusted with our capitalist way of life. part of me wants to say "fuck it" and leave the country to start a new life, the other part of me tells me that it is my duty to stay in the belly of the beast and put my all into fighting the machine...

how do yall feel about this? is it better for one to advance their struggle wherever they are at or to relocate to a place where they will be happier?

I think we should try to change the system from the inside by educating the American people that are other options other than capitalism without going to extreme. Check out the Green Party USA, I think they provide a good alternative to the main corporate parties.

I will stay with the idea of fighting, because flying way is like being a cobard.

Use Gandhi's way, large civil disobediance. He made the British submit.

if you simply submit to the system because it is the easiest way, then you have lost, and capitalism has won. it is ones job, or obligation, to fight against the system of capitalism. if one is anti-capitalist, and does nothing about it, then what has that person done?

it is sometimes easiest to change a system, radically, from within.

You certainly should NOT leave! i argued this point before, that if people leave, theyll be no1 to continue and start the revolution, and all of us will be screwed for a few people's cowardice.
I am for staying and fighting, thats just me, i wont submit, and sure as hell wont run away, youve got to stay and help your comrades

Stay in the US. Remember, even if you try to promote the revolution in other countries, it will either be stomped out by direct US military action, or it will be economically and militarily strangled, i.e. Nicaragua.

thank you all for the responses. to be honest i know deep down that my battle remains in the belly of the beast. on some days when i imagine starting a new life in a new country but i know i could never turn my back on my comrades and the movement that is slowly but surely advancing.

for abstractmentality, we are living in a new century ,we are not in the 60's or in the bolshevic revolution days, what you say can be said in the early 60's ,REVOLUTIO REVOLUTIOn, forget about this ,there's no ussr then we must be more realastic and live the truth and do not lie on ourselves and say blind slogans ,every country is capitalist and most of them ,maybe i could suggest you to live your country in the 60's but now forget about this ,so u will leave your country to another one who is already americanized and going in it capitalist way!

if you are anti-capitalist, then what good is that thought if you are simply not going to do anything about it? you might as well just assimlate completely, because if you are like anything you make yourself seem like, you dont have too far to go to complete your assimilation. im not talking about pulling up arms and taking the country over. what i am talking about is actions done on the local scale that attempt to undermine capitalism as a whole. what i am talking about is talking to people, spreading the knowledge. thats what im talking about.
