I went to quaker meeting where an old and respected member stood up and told us that prayer should not only be directed to those who will fall victom to this war, but also to Bush, Blair, and those who need it most. Pray for their understanding and to remember that they are in need of understanding and require all the help they can get. Even if you are not religous it is a good thing to think about.. i am not sure if i correctly said what i was trying to.

another practice that i love is finding out how much money of your taxes goes to support your country's military, and instead of paying it to hte government, either put it in a bank account that you do not touch, or give it to an anti-war non-profit charity.

Hahaha, I'm not going to pray for understanding for those bastards. I'll pray that if there is an afterlife, Bush gets sent into the fiery pits of hell, and Blair gets sent to the fiery pits of hell to suck off Americans for the rest of eternity.

McRob, welcome to the board.

I totally agree with you, my parents are both anglicans and my dad's mum was a quaker, and they really believe that prayer will make the difference, that God will put Bush right and good for them, except I'm not a christian.
